William vs. Harry: Who do you prefer?

mi-harry-william-480-cp03049430.jpgIt's a tale of two princes, both tall, both members of the British armed forces, both young and engaging.

But one prince rescues injured hikers by piloting a helicopter, while the other is photographed naked in Las Vegas.

During the past week, Prince William made headlines for not one, but two helicopter rescues of injured hikers in Wales, including one Ontario woman who broke her leg while hiking.

"He assisted in helping Darlene when they moved the stretcher out (of the helicopter)," Lawrence Oakley told The Canadian Press by phone from Wales about the prince's rescue of his wife, Darlene Burton.

Prince William has been working as a search and rescue helicopter pilot for the Royal Air Force since September, 2010.

Over here on this side of the pond, Prince Harry visited Las Vegas, where he was spotted with U.S. swimmer and multiple Olympic medallist Ryan Lochte.

But the more talked-about story from Harry's Vegas vacation is the one that includes photos of the prince in the nude with an unidentified woman, posted to celebrity gossip site TMZ.

According to TMZ, Harry and some friends went downstairs to the hotel bar where they met some women and invited them upstairs to the prince's suite.

The group played a game of strip pool TMZ said.

A Clarence House spokesman confirmed it was Prince Harry in the pictures and told CBC News the prince was on private leave from the military on holiday in the United States and will be returning home shortly.

Clarence House is the official residence of the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall.

A former royal protection officer told the Telegraph that he didn't envy Prince Harry's security team.

"It must be a nightmare at times, trying to ensure that he doesn't get into these kinds of scrapes," Dai Davies told the Telegraph.

The Guardian newspaper even published an op-ed calling for Prince Harry to be stripped of his royal title.

This tale of two princes demonstrates a stark contrast between the public images of the royal brothers.  There's William, the knight in shining armour, and Harry, the trouble-making bad boy.

So what do you think of the two princes? Which royal do you prefer?
