2012 NBA Playoffs, Derrick Rose: Twitter was all NBA Saturday afternoon as the basketball playoffs kicked off Saturday with four games, after a shortened season following the league lockout in late 2011. However, the games themselves took a back seat to an early injury, in Game 1 between the Chicago Bulls and the Philadelphia 76ers.

The Bulls' Derrick Rose fell to the ground near the end of the game with a left leg injury. He had to be helped up and to the locker room. CBS Sports reports that Rose was able to put weight on his leg, but his injury and its severity have yet to be formally diagnosed.

Lebron: The Miami Heat's LeBron James currently appears on the trending lists, but it's almost always in comparison to Carmelo Anthony, a longtime rival on the opposing New York Knicks.

TNT analyst Charles Barkley is quoted saying, "Carmelo Anthony is the best scorer in the NBA, but LeBron James is arguably the best defender in the NBA."
