Some write songs to win back an ex. Others write poems. In Weston-Super-Mare, England, one jilted lover appears to be tagging the town with romantic notes, instead.

The love-struck vandal, known only as SF, covered the town with at least 16 notes for someone named Danielle, the Daily Mail reported.

The circumstances of the relationship's demise aren't clear. But SF is leaving no doubt as to lingering feelings for his or her ex.

Using green paint, SF has tagged a variety of messages including:

  • "We were the best."
  • "We once loved."
  • "Remember the good times we loved and miss."
  • "You're walkin' all over the times that I've known us to smile."
  • "Baby it was real and we were the best."
  • "I love you Danielle."
  • "I'm sorry."

Although some may find the crime of passion endearing, some local residents are annoyed at the public display.

"It's a bit of a mess. Maybe if he does get his girlfriend back he can go and clean it all up," said David Gould, whose office was tagged by the vandal.

What do you think of the spray-painted supplications? Have you ever gone to great lengths to win back an old flame? What would it take to get you to give an ex another chance?
