Rona Ambrose to unveil proposed new food labels in Edmonton

Minister of State for ACOA Rob Moore continues his extended summer tour with a joint appearance alongside Aboriginal Affairs Minister and fellow New Brunswick MP Bernard Valcourt for an announcement at the Corruven Canada Inc. plant in Edmundston. 

Back in Ontario, local MP Rick Norlock drops by the Hastings Marina with news on "festival activities," while in Manitoba, his caucus colleague James Bezan shares the details of new federal funding earmarked for the Heritage Room at the Grand Marais community and RV park.

Meanwhile, Health Minister Rona Ambrose unveils a proposal to change Canada's nutritional labels at an Edmonton supermarket.

Finally, International Trade Minister Ed Fast starts his day in Surrey, where he'll unveil a new "clean technology initiative" before heading to Vancouver for a lunch appearance at the Canada-China Executive Forum.
