More and more Canadians are getting their news and information on mobile devices, whether it's their phone or tablet. Mobile is now the fastest growing audience for us at CBC News and Centres. We're focused on ensuring we have best-in-class products that reflect the great content we have from across the country and the world, and from radio and television.

You'll hear more about mobile in this space in the coming year, but we took one big step forward this month when we relaunched our iPhone and iPad apps, as well as unveiling what I think is the best mobile news website in the country.

We're continuing to improve these services each month. We've already improved the audio listening experience, and watch for more developments on that front in the coming months.

Let us know what you think of these products in the comments below. I've broken down the service by device:

iPhone 4, iPhone 5 and iPad

The CBC News iOS app offers a richer mobile experience with much more video, photo galleries, an improved audio experience, more weather, better access to local news and regional supper hour newscasts, The National, and live streaming video.
