'Canada's Restaurant Secrets' investigates health inspection reports for 13 national chains

Posted: April 11, 2014

Marketplace reviewed public health inspection reports for five major cities: Toronto, Calgary, Vancouver, Regina and Ottawa. We did not, however, review health inspection reports for any other city in Canada.

If you'd like to review health inspection reports for another major city, you may click on "Other" tab for that information.

Restaurant inspections: how does your favourite restaurant score?

Canada’s Restaurant Secrets is the country’s first-ever national restaurant inspection. Marketplace examined public health reports for 13 popular national restaurant chains, including coffee shops, fast food chains and family dining restaurants. We reviewed reports from five major cities -- Vancouver, Calgary, Regina, Calgary and Ottawa -- from September 1, 2012 to October 20, 2013. The restaurants were selected based on popularity and national presence.
