The cause of a deadly bus-train crash that killed six people, including an Ottawa bus driver, on Sept. 18, 2013 is still unknown, leaving many people with questions about public transit safety.

The double-decker bus collided with a Via train when it drove through the level crossing as the train was approaching. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.

The map below highlights key locations surrounding the area where the accident occurred. The bus was leaving the Fallowfield Transitway station and heading north when it drove through the crossing.
