Housing prices: What does $400,000 buy you?

For more than a decade, many real estate watchers have predicted a correction in Canadian home prices.

But it has yet to happen.

According to the latest figures from the Canadian Real Estate Association, the national average price for a home has climbed to $401,419.

CBC News took a closer look at the CREA stats and found examples of what $400,000 could buy you in various Canadian cities.
