The most buzzworthy element of this redesign has been the addition of a large, Facebook cover photo-like header photo to one's profile, both on the website and within all mobile apps.

This header image also serves as a background image for the Twitter profile image, bio, location, and link.ZdnetNew twitter header! Many have already done so, and are happily showing off their new profile headers using the service.
