The commenting system on CBC News Online stories is now fully functional. This follows an outage that began sometime around 5 p.m. ET yesterday. We regret to tell you that the majority of the comments submitted between the beginning of the outage and about 1:30 p.m. ET today have been lost.
CBC News highly values the contributions of our online community. We are investigating the cause of the outage so that we can prevent a similar event from happening again in the future. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. We hope that you will continue to participate in the lively and thoughtful discussions that accompany our stories.
