It may sound like science fiction, but one American couple has been married while wearing jet packs. Grant and Amanda Engler, from Grand Rapids, Michigan got married in front of about 70 people in Newport, Beach, California last week.
According to the website Mlive, the jetpack wedding is believed to be the first of its kind in the world.
The Englers each donned jetpacks worth about $90,000. The groom wore a wetsuit and bow tie while the bride wore white board shorts, a white rash-guard shirt and a veil.
The jet pack wedding is just the latest entry in a long history of headline-grabbing stunt weddings. There have already been weddings in zero gravity, under the sea and on top of Mount Everest.
