Queen Elizabeth celebrates her Diamond Jubilee this year, marking 60 years on the throne and a near lifetime of public service.
In May, the CBC Community invited you to submit your best photos and videos of the Queen's visits to Canada, or any photos of the Royal Family taken during their dozens of Canadian tours.
The results were tremendous - and we've included them in the interactive portrait above.
Simply click on any of the small squares embedded in the Queen's portrait to see larger versions of some of the most compelling photos we received, as well as a brief caption describing when and where the photo was taken.
To read more about each of these photos, visit the Royal Encounters gallery on our CBC Your News Community page.
There, you'll be able to browse through the images and read complete descriptions of them. Some of the stories are quite remarkable!
If you'd like to submit your own photos of royal visits past, simply upload them to the CBC Your News Community. If you haven't joined, it's easy to do so. And if you are a member, simply log in and upload your photos or videos to the 'Royal Encounters' category in the form below.
