Should transgender beauty queen Jenna Talackova be allowed to compete in Miss Universe Canada? (Getty Images)Former Miss Universe Canada contestant Jenna Talackova is seeking legal advice after she was kicked out of the competition because she is transgendered.

Talackova "will not compete in the 2012 Miss Universe Canada competition because she did not meet the requirements to compete despite having stated otherwise on her entry form," organizers said Friday.

Contest rules stipulate contestants must be "natural born female." Talackova, of Vancouver, was born male but is said to have had sex reassignment surgery two years ago.

Do you think Talackova should be allowed to compete? Why or why not? Share your thoughts in the comment field below.
