CBC News Network put three of your questions to NDP leadership candidate Peggy Nash on Jan. 15, 2012.

The questions included:

"Given past party policy, how long would Canadians have to wait for an NDP government to move to cancel the North American Free Trade Agreement?" - Byron Mongomery of Creemore, Ont.

"What will an NDP federal government do for Western Canada? Why should the farmers vote for the NDP?" - Terry Elder

"The general public sees the NDP as somewhat 'careless' with the economy, preferring to guarantee substantial social, educational, and health programs at the expense of possible deficit. How will you balance the need for a vibrant economy with a rational debt, while ensuring Canadians continue to have a safety net, as well as sound social programs?" - Peter Burbridge

Thanks to everyone who submitted questions. Submit comments for next week's candidate, Paul Dewar, in the comments field below. You can also email them to yournews@cbc.ca.
