CBC News Network put three of your questions to NDP leadership candidate Paul Dewar on Jan. 22, 2012.

The questions included:

"How will you address the #1 social and economic disaster facing this country: the retirement of baby boomers and the insurmountable deficit we have due to our current system of entitlements and taxes?" - Stephen Hureau, Whitehorse, Yukon

"The current Conservative party rose to power my merging disparate right-wing parties into one strong right-wing party. How do you feel about left-of-center parties doing the same in order to defeat the Conservatives?" - Helen McFadden, Surrey, B.C.

"In my opinion, Canadian politicians seem to have lost the big vision ideas like we have had in the past, like EI, pensions, [and] medicare. Do you believe in a vision for Canada - and what is it?"
- Stuart Robertson, Sidney, N.S.

Thanks to everyone who submitted questions.

Our next guest, Martin Singh, will be interviewed on Feb. 5. You can send your questions in the comments field below, or email them to yournews@cbc.ca.
