Does Justin Trudeau's s-bomb disappoint you?

Liberal MP Justin Trudeau, seen in the House of Commons last month, apologized for swearing at Environment Minister Peter Kent during question period Wednesday. (Sean Kilpatrick/Canadian Press)Tempers flared in the House of Commons Wednesday, culminating in Liberal MP Justin Trudeau swearing loudly at Environment Minister Peter Kent.

"I lost my temper and used language that was most decidedly unparliamentary and for that I unreservedly apologize and withdraw my remark," Trudeau said at the end of question period.

It all began when Kent suggested NDP MP Megan Leslie should have attended the climate change conference in Durban, South Africa - despite the fact that opposition MPs were banned from attending.

The Opposition's side of the House erupted in jeers, but above the clamour Trudeau could be heard shouting, "you piece of shit" at Kent.

It's been an explosive session in the House, with fireworks on display both on the record and online. Trudeau's outburst was only the latest in a series of exchanges that included Megan Leslie's grumpy old man comment, Pat Martin's f-bombs on Twitter, and Bob Rae's "bullshit"-laden tweet earlier Wednesday.

Does Trudeau's comment fall short of your expectations of conduct for a Member of Parliament? Do MPs need to rein in the salty language? Let us know in the comments section below.
