Your Interview: Send us your questions for Occupy Toronto

Categories: Community

(John Rieti/CBC)A judge has ordered that Occupy Toronto pack up their gear and leave.

Superior Court Justice David Brown's ruling, upholds eviction notices issued last week by city bylaw officers to protesters who have been camping at St. James Park since Oct. 15.

Occupy Toronto's story echoes the plight of Occupy movements in other Canadian cities, such as Vancouver and Halifax, and in New York, where the original Occupy Wall Street movement was born.

The Occupy encampments have run afoul of municipal bylaws and police in some cities have forcibly removed the protesters' tents and other possessions.

There's been plenty of media coverage of the Occupy movement, and of its camps.

But what questions would you put to the leaders of the movement, if you had a chance?

Occupy Toronto organizer Taylor Chelsea has agreed to answer your questions in a special feature here on the CBC Community blog.

Post your questions in the comments field below, or email them to yournews@cbc.ca with "Ask Occupy" in the subject line.

We'll gather your questions and put them to Taylor on Wed., Nov. 23.
