As Occupy Canada protests continue across the country, demonstrators who have set up camp in Vancouver say they have no plans to go anywhere until their demands are met, though it's not yet clear what those demands are.

Between 100 and 200 people are living on site at the Occupy encampment on the grounds of the Vancouver Art Gallery.

The "tent village" includes a donations-based kitchen, medic station, resource library and centre square.

Similar camps also exist at Occupy protests in Toronto and Montreal.

Vancouver mayor Gregor Robertson says the protesters will eventually have to go, but he prefers not to have to physically remove them.

He notes the group isn't breaking any city bylaws because the space they are occupying is actually provincial land.

South of the border in Atlanta, Mayor Kasim Reed is not so tolerant. He's threatening to order protesters out of the city's Woodruff Park. Reed believes the makeshift camps are dangerous and expensive.
