On Saturday's episode of Coach's Corner, host Don Cherry addressed his earlier remarks about three former NHL enforcers who spoke out against fighting in hockey.

Cherry told co-host Ron MacLean he regrets calling Stu Grimson, Chris Nilan and Jim Thomson "pukes" and "hypocrites."

But Cherry reiterated his stance on fighting in the sport and stands by his words.

"I'm still going to talk about fighting. It's a tough job, don't get me wrong," he said. "It's a tough sport, but I would not have a mad dog sitting on the bench [to] only get on [the ice] for two minutes.
