hi-drive-02-220-tiff.jpgThe Toronto International Film Festival will present a flood of films to cinephiles and stargazers alike next week. While event organizers are rolling out the red carpet for the likes of Brad Pitt, George Clooney and Francis Ford Coppola, the projectors will be rolling over 330 films with a wide range of genre and budget.

Some of the most anticipated films to come include director Luc Besson's The Lady, starring Michelle Yeoh as the Burmese activist Aung San Suu Kyi; The Ides of March co-written and directed by Clooney; and David Cronenberg's A Dangerous Method, which portrays the relationship between psychoanalysts Sigmund Freud and Carl Jung.

There's also We Need to Talk About Kevin, starring Tilda Swinton as the mother of a teen responsible for a horrific school shooting. And Café de flore, from the director Jean-Marc Vallée, weaves together the story of a 1960s-era French woman devoted to her special-needs son and a modern-day Montreal DJ caught between a new lover and his ex.

CBC News has an expanded list of 15 worth the anticipation, but below you'll find an even shorter list of some of the festival's most-hyped films.

Tell us in the comments section what films you are looking forward to that might have flown under the radar, or that pique your particular interests.
