The key message at this year's Liberal Party summer caucus is redemption, as MPs fight to maintain the party's reputation.

Following a historical defeat in the last federal election, Liberals are working on regaining their strength in Parliament. And there is a sense at this gathering that they have their work cut out for them.

"Nobody is underestimating the work that we nee to do, but also at the same time, there is a sense of determination that we can and we will do this," says deputy leader Ralph Goodale.

From a new party leader to a renewed platform and strategy, what do you think the Liberals need to do to recover from their election losses?
