Ms. Alabama Nursing Home pageant will crown a winner Monday," the Associated Press is reporting, giving new meaning to the concept of "ageless beauty."
Ten contestants will have individual interviews with a panel of judges before having to answer a question onstage with host Courtney Porter, who herself was crowned Miss Alabama of 2011.
The winner will receive a crown and sash, and will be expected to serve as an unofficial ambassador of nursing residents at various events.
The event, held at the Wynfrey Hotel in Hoover, Ala., is in its 29th year.
