The final puck drops Wednesday night in Vancouver, as the Canucks and the Boston Bruins face off for the Stanley Cup.

The Bruins forced the deciding Game 7 on Monday after trouncing the Canucks in a 5-2 win in Boston.

This will be the 16th time the Stanley Cup Final has been extended to a seventh and deciding game, the CBC's Tim Wharnsby wrote in a preview of the matchup. The home team has posted a 12-3 record in the previous 15 Game 7s. The last time a Game 7 in the Stanley Cup Final was played on Canadian ice was 24 years ago, when the Edmonton Oilers upended the Philadelphia Flyers at home.
