Albertans have let there government get far to comfortable. 30 years in power says, we can do anything and you sheep will continue to vote for us. The governments should fear its people and yours does not." BornRaisedWest

"Yes, please audit this H1N1 vaccination plan. Here are some questions I would like answered:
1. We vaccinated 372,000 to date, and have 190,000 doses left. That accounts for 562,000 doses. But we received 622,000 doses. Where are the 60,000 unaccounted for doses?
2. Liepert ordered the vaccination program to cease late Saturday. How many doses were premixed at that point, and had to be destroyed because they have a shelf life of 24 hours. What was the cost of those lost doses in $$'s and risk to Albertans?
3. Why did Liepert immediately suspend vaccination, instead of just restricting it to high risk groups, and kept the existing schedule? Vaccine in boxes does nothing, it only works in the arm and only after 10-14 days. What was the cost to shut down all the clinics, and then start them up again?
4. Are Program decisions being made by people who are qualified to make them?
5. Alberta's pandemic plan calls for vaccinating high risk first. Why was that plan not followed?
6. Alberta's pandemic plan calls for more than nurses to do the vaccination. One example is paramedics. Why were they not used? Why not LPN's?
The Flames? Yeah that is annoying, but likely quite inconsequential to the overall program. Someone will likely get fired for that, but what about the guy at the top? Liepert is the one who needs to be fired for the much bigger issues." Ron Alberta
"This is a perfect picture of what two tier health care systems look like. The rich get richer and those with money can buy their health care coverage/care. The Flames should be ashamed. Alberta Health Services should be investigated. How did the money/vaccine exchange happen and who's pocket was filled.
I am disgusted." Canadafirst1
"Wow. The only thing more stunning about the poor job they're doing is that it's actually getting worse. I think the special shots for the Flames should be investigated. Rolling out office flu shots is a good thing, but only offering them to famous millionares and their families is not." Sparky
