Your week in review: Snow, daycare and bird pics

1. Parts of New Brunswick were buried in snow earlier this week as the province was hit with a massive snow storm.

Several communities received upwards of 60 centimetres of snow fall!

New Brunswickers are continuing to shovel out from a massive overnight snowstorm that has dumped as much as 35 centimetres in parts of the province, causing power outages and plows to be pulled off the roads.

Along with the 15 to 35 centimetres of snow being reported around the province, there are wind gusts of 50 to 90 km/h.

New Brunswick residents sent in some photos of the storm's aftermath.

Though it wasn't a national holiday, on Monday, February 16 four provinces got to enjoy a much-needed day off.

For Kathleen Bryant this meant enjoying the last day of the Bon Soo Winter Carnival in Sault Ste. Marie, Ont.
