The K-pop hit that recently became the most-watched music video ever on YouTube has caught on in a Thai prison.
Seventy inmates at the Bangkok Remand Prison took part in a Gangnam Style competition Tuesday, wearing colourful wigs and makeup as they danced for media.
The dance contest, which started in October before being whittled down to 70 finalists, has helped reduce violence among the prisoners, officials told Reuters.
The winning team received a trophy along with food and clothes.
PSY, the Korean rapper behind Gangnam Style, will perform in Thailand on Wednesday.
