Following the earthquake many displaced people have taken refugee in overcrowded tent camps. This short film explores life in one such camp after the rains.

The filmmaker

Yrvelt Lamour is a first-year student at Ciné Institute.

In addition to his passion for film, He's studied plumbing and is a local artisan.

Yrvelt's house collapsed in the quake and he now lives in one of Jacmel's tent camps with his mother.

With the skills he's learning at film school, he hopes to help his country forge a better future.
