Italian agents seeking tax cheats target luxury cars

The CBC's Susan Ormiston talks to Italian tax inspectors who have the power to pull over drivers of expensive cars and run their data.

"We can see if he declares everything to the tax administration, or if he's completely unknown," Col. Davide Cardia says.

The move comes as Prime Minister Mario Monti tries to catch tax cheats, cut waste and increase productivity to battle the country's financial crisis.
