Photographs of a naked Prince Harry and an unidentified young woman taken in a Las Vegas hotel have surfaced on the internet.
TMZ.com has posted two photos of the naked prince and the woman that were apparently taken over the weekend.
A spokesman at Clarence House, the official residence of the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall, confirmed to CBC News that the pictures are of the prince.
Prince Harry's office confirmed Wednesday that the photos posted on TMZ.com were of the prince but declined to make any further comment. (TMZ.com)The spokesman said the prince was on private leave from the military on holiday in the United States and will be returning home shortly. Harry, a captain in the British army, is third in line to the throne.
TMZ said Harry and some of his friends went to the hotel bar and invited some women up to their room.
The photographs were taken after the group played a game of strip pool, TMZ said.
