Dr. Romain and Dr. William are orthopedic surgeons from Massachusetts. From St. Michel's, a damaged, yet functioning hospital, on the edge of Jacmel they work amidst the cries of the elderly and babies to help with the overwhelming medical issues in the town.

Donald Charles is in his second year at Ciné Institute.
Since the earthquake he's been sleeping under a tarp in his yard, the neighbours' two-storey house threatening to collapse on his home.
He has been immersing himself in his filmmaking.
