Canadian Mike Myers and Paris Hilton emerged as the big losers at the Razzie Awards in Hollywood on Saturday night, chosen for three prizes each at an event marking the worst in moviedom for 2008.
Myers' comedy dud The Love Guru was named the year's worst movie and Myers was chosen as worst actor. The movie also won the Razzie for worst screenplay, which Myers co-wrote.
Hilton got her own Razzies moment with three awards: worst actress for The Hottie and the Nottie, worst supporting actress for Repo! The Genetic Opera and worst screen couple along with her Hottie co-stars.
Pierce Brosnan was picked worst supporting actor for Mamma Mia!.
The Razzie for worst director went to Uwe Boll for three movies: In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale, 1968: Tunnel Rats and Postal.
The Razzies are announced one day before the top film honours, the Oscars, are handed out in Hollywood. The winners rarely show up to collect their prizes.
