For years, the wife of one of Lance Armstrong's teammates knew the truth about the disgraced cyclist.

But when she eventually spoke out — saying she had witnessed him firsthand admit to using performance-enhancing drugs — she paid a high price.

CBC spoke to Betsy Andreu at her home in Michigan and heard how the whistleblower was bullied and abused when she decided to go public about the man at the top of the cycling world.
