For the second time in five days, a Canadian passenger has vanished from a cruise ship in the Caribbean.

The waters around the Cayman Islands are being searched for a 65-year-old Canadian man who was aboard the Independence of the Seas.

He was reported missing yesterday by his wife while the ship was on a six-day Caribbean cruise.

A search of the huge ship turned up no sign of the man, whose name and hometown have not been revealed.

Last Saturday, Tien Phuoc Nguyen — a 26-year-old Canadian — jumped from the Adventure of the Seas off the coast of Puerto Rico.

On Monday, rescuers ended the search for Nguyen, whose hometown is not known.

He was with his family on a six-day cruise of the Caribbean.
