MONTREAL -- "It's not just me, my entire position is being abolished. I keep listening but I feel like I am in a Charlie Brown cartoon. Suddenly the sound of adults has turned into "Wah wah wah wah." The only thing that penetrates is the core of the message: I am being let go."

Leslie Quinton's job-seeking journal first aired on CBC Radio's "Workology" earlier this year. She lost her job as director of communication at Canderel Management Inc. in January. Losing your job is a lot like breaking up, she discovered.
