Windsor Fire quenches blaze caused by cooking
Windsor Fire put out what District Chief Paul Beggs believed to be a cooking fire at a home on the corner of Windsor and Elliot.
"We could actually see it actually from the station," said Beggs. "When we arrived on scene the entire rear of the structure was fully involved in a blaze."
Beggs said investigators would determine the exact cause of the fire. But he was told it was started by a barbecue.
One person was sent to hospital with undetermined injuries. Beggs said it was the homeowner.
"He was certainly singed and did suffer some burns," said Beggs.
