In Lyon, France, more than 100 robot developers have gathered to showcase their innovations for the second InnoRobo summit in as many years.
More than 12 different countries are participating in the show, which is designed to showcase the development of the robotics industry.
Montreal-based company Kinova has one robot in the show, Jaco, a waterproof robotic arm with three fingers that can attach to a wheelchair.
Other robots included a RoboThespian, hovering drones and toy dinosaurs.
Organizers expect the robotics industry to be worth $100 billion by 2020. The event started on Wednesday and runs until Friday.
