The troubles for WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange continue to mount. As he was taken into police custody in the U.K., Visa announced it is suspending all payments to the organization. Visa's decision is a powerful blow to the loosely knit organization, which relies on online donations to fund its operations.
Popular online payment company PayPal, Inc. has already severed its links with WikiLeaks.
Swiss authorities closed the new Swiss bank account of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange on Monday.
