LED holiday lights sold at Zellers recalled

Zellers has become the second major retailer this week to face a recall of tens of thousands of sets of LED holiday lights.
LED holiday lights manufactured by Heshan Yinyu Light Decoration Ltd. of China and sold under the Westinghouse, Martha Stewart and Home Accent Holiday labels have been recalled due to exposed wires. (Electrical Safety Authority) The Zellers recall involves 163,000 strings of indoor-outdoor lights bearing the Westinghouse label.
Earlier this week Home Depot announced the recall of about 166,000 strings of lights with the Martha Stewart and Home Accents Holiday labels.
In both recalls the issue is exposed wires that could lead to a fire or shock.
All of the recalled lights were made by the same manufacturer, Heshan Yinyu Light Decoration Ltd. of China.
Anyone who has purchased the recalled the holiday lights from Home Depot or Zellers should stop using them right away and return them for a refund.
