Portable coolers recalled over fire hazard

Sears Canada recalled three models of Charlescraft portable electric coolers on Friday due to a potential fire hazard.

The 120V AC power supply for the portable Coca-Cola and Labatt Blue Light English and French coolers may overheat, risking fire, injury or property damage. Two incidents of overheating have been reported.
The coolers were sold through the Sears department stores, catalogue and website between November 2005 and August 2007.
Consumers should stop using the cooler's power supply immediately and contact Charlescraft at 1-800-414-5027 for a free replacement power supply.
