The Cisco Ottawa Bluesfest has released a star-studded lineup that includes an opening night appearance by Bob Dylan.
The singer-songwriter turned satellite radio DJ plays July 5, the first night of the 11-day festival that is being staged on LeBreton Flats, near the Canadian War Museum. The site will have five stages.
Bob Dylan, shown in 2005, is one of the headline acts of the Ottawa Bluesfest.

Other stars at the festival include the White Stripes, Joel Plaskett, Blue Rodeo, Sarah Harmer, Kanye West, Alexisonfire and George Thorogood.
Blues acts include Watermelon Slim, Henry Butler and legendary Chicago guitarist Buddy Guy.
The annual event traditionally tries to cross genres as well as provide a showcase for local musicians.
July 14 is devoted to some of the world's best gospel acts, including Richie Righteous, the Canton Spirituals, Da T.R.U.T.H., Patricia Shirley, the Toronto Mass Choir, Soul Influence and Chorale de la Prophétie.
