The British Columbia Lions signed non-import wide receiver Paris Jackson to a contract extension on Wednesday.
Terms of the extension were not disclosed.

"Paris is a big-time receiver who makes plays when needed most," Lions general manager and head coach Wally Buono said. "Our receiving corps is among the league's best and having Paris back keeps us at that level."
Jackson, 26, set career highs of 51 receptions for 634 yards and four touchdowns in 18 games with the Lions last season.
The Vancouver native excelled in the playoffs too, snaring five passes for 66 yards and two touchdowns in a 45-18 rout of the Saskatchewan Roughriders in the CFL West Championship, and hauling in five more for 65 yards in B.C.'s 25-14 victory over the Montreal Alouettes in the Grey Cup at Winnipeg.
Jackson has averaged an impressive 12.8 yards per catch in the CFL, totalling 115 receptions for 1,474 yards and eight majors in 45 games since being drafted sixth overall by B.C. in 2003.
