Summerside police have made several arrests in connection with a break and enter at an Elm Street home over the weekend, but are warning about other unrelated incidents.
Police said the Elm Street suspects entered an unoccupied home Monday by breaking a kitchen window, and stole a quantity of money. They have arrested three youths in connection to the case.
One of the three had recently been charged with seven break and enters, and had been released by the court pending his court appearance. He is now in custody.
Summerside police are also warning residents to keep their doors locked after two other unrelated, residential break-ins in Summerside Tuesday.
Police say they believe someone is checking doors of homes in the area of Linda Drive, Balcom Drive and Arcona Street to see if they are unlocked.
