"The best teams in our league place a premium on quality Canadians," said Roughriders general manager Eric Tillman. "Having Luc and Scott in green and white certainly makes us a better football team."

Mullinder, a Canadian who played college football at Michigan State, finished the 2006 season with seven defensive tackles, two quarterback sacks and one pass knockdown.

Mullinder was Saskatchewan's fourth-round pick (31st overall) in the 2004 CFL College Draft.

Gordon returned to Saskatchewan in September in a trade with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, but sat out the rest of the season with a knee injury.

Gordon, a University of Ottawa product, played four seasons with the Roughriders before being traded to the Ticats earlier this year. He originally joined Saskatchewan in 2002 as a free agent.
