A fifth man has been sentenced for his role in the 2004 murder in Regina of Wayne Gerald Friday.
Conrad Byron Moise, 25, was recently sentenced to seven years and eight months in prison after pleading guilty to manslaughter.
In November 2004, Friday's battered body was found on a First Nations reserve outside Regina. He had been fatally shot.
The man the Crown called the ringleader of the attack, Quinton Bitternose, has been sentenced to life in prison after being found guilty of first-degree murder in May. Bitternose has launched an appeal.
Court heard a group of people had been with Bitternose the night Friday died.
In June, Tyrone Lyndon Southwind, 26, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder. He was sentenced to life in prison with no eligibility for parole for 10 years.
At the same time, Elwin Michael Goodpipe and Randy John Southwind, both 23, each entered guilty pleas to manslaughter.
They were sentenced to 11½ years for the crime, but with time served on remand, their net sentences were 8½ years.
Still before the courts in connection with the homicide is Shawn Nippi, whose trial is scheduled for the fall.
