The Canadian Food Inspection Agency said Saturday that some cans of Mead Johnson powder infant formula found at stores in the Windsor, Ont., region have been tampered with.

One can, among a total of four suspect cans, has been found to contain what is believed to be a detergent.

The CFIA said no one has been reported ill from the tampered formula. They also said they believe this is an isolated incident.

The agency also advised consumers to look under the label and inspect the cans for any signs of tampering.

Consumers can contact the inspection agency at 1-800-442-2342, or Mead Johnson at 1-800-361-6323.

The CFIA will probe the suspected tampering and Windsor police are handling the case.
