They were kicking and clawing their way onto the television program, Ripley's Believe It or Not.
And they brought the house down. Literally.
It took a record time of 2 hours and 13 minutes for the 15 students to tear down an abandoned house with their bare hands and feet.
Wolfgang Manicke says they didn't do any special training. "How do you train to run through a wall? Just say to yourself, it's not going to hurt. But it's going to hurt.", said Manicke.
"You use your shoulders you use your back, your butt, any part of your body you know. You rip, you claw whatever you can do. It's demolishing."
Manicke's done this before. He's held the record since 1982.
In addition going on TV the group will also make it into the books. The Guiness World Book of Records plans to enter the them into its 2002 edition.
For now, though, Manicke says he's through demolishing houses. His next goal is to tear down a hotel.
