Thousands of Toronto high school students are expected to gather at Queens Park for a rally late this afternoon.
There were rallies outside four Toronto high schools on Wednesday, as students protested against the teachers' work-to-rule campaign that has ended participation in some sports teams and clubs.
The students are saying they need sports teams and clubs to keep them motivated and to help them "blow off steam."
A hall monitor at Riverdale Collegiate says he's noticed an increase in school-yard fighting after classes, and he says it's because the kids don't have teams and clubs to go to.
