Vancouver-Whistler is in the running to get the 2010 Winter Olympics.
Organizers say it will bring in $1.2 billion in revenue.
But they have yet to say how much a successful bid will cost taxpayers and the government.
The Vancouver-Whistler 2010 Olympic bid team has raised $10 million toward their target of $20 million.
But the money needed to draw up the plans doesn't compare to what it will actually cost to put on the games.
Two years ago Arthur Griffiths headed up the bid. At that time he said it would cost $730 million.
But Griffiths is gone and so is the estimate.
The decision on who gets the games won't be made until July 2003.
