The City of Gloucester has received a cheque worth more than $900,000.
It represents the city's share of revenue from the first five months of operation of slot machines at Rideau Carleton raceway.
Each municipality receives between two and five per cent of the facility's gross slot machine revenue.
More than 500,000 people have played the slot machines at Rideau-Carleton since the facility opened in February.
