A Halifax Tim Horton's outlet recently discovered two employees selling marijuana at the drive-thru window.

The two suspects will face drug-trafficking charges for allegedly selling pot to drive-thru customers in empty coffee cups.

The manager of the Barrington Street coffee and doughnut store says she became suspicious of two 19-year-old female employees after hearing some customers request "15-pack" boxes of Timbits. Timbits are not sold in packs of 15.

Halifax police say the manager eventually caught the two women passing a coffee cup with marijuana inside to a motorist.

The two employees will appear in court in June to enter pleas on the drug-trafficking charges and are now apparently looking for new jobs.
